Dear Readers,
Thank you for our patience as I resume my volunteer assignment as your newsletter editor! During the month of July I was on a 26-day cruise with PDG Ed Charlesworth, my loving husband, and then moved to Lake City, Colorado to manage our lodge. Our lodge is in the most remote county in the continental United States, and the internet service is unreliable and inconsistent on a daily basis. I will do my best to get back into the routine of publishing our newsletters for our international membership. It is challenging, such as writing and researching an article for two hours only to loose it earlier this week due to interruption of internet service. I with to thank fellow Rotarian Liz Odfalk for her efforts to provide the newsletter last month while I was away. Our Rotary e-club of Houston is dynamic and we need everyone to find their niche on a committee. If you would like to assist with the newsletter, please contact me at 970-880-0960.
