She has extensive experience in human rights advocacy, international conflict resolution, and crisis management. Through her work with various government and nonprofit organizations, Hawani has contributed to policy development and humanitarian initiatives aimed at peacebuilding and conflict prevention. She has also collaborated with Rotary International in Rennes, France, where she engaged with cross-cultural initiatives to promote dialogue and understanding. Presentation Overview The presentation will focus on peacebuilding and its role in addressing humanitarian crises and resolving conflicts. I will share insights from my human rights work and international experiences, emphasizing practical strategies that individuals and governments can adopt to foster peace. I plan to highlight both community-level and global initiatives, offering actionable steps that anyone—regardless of their professional background—can take to make a meaningful difference.	View

She earned her Business Management degree from Westfield State University in Massachusetts before traveling through developing countries, where she witnessed the devastating lack of access to basic resources. After personally battling a severe waterborne parasite that led to a four-year gut healing journey, Jenna became dedicated to ensuring families have access to safe water—the foundation for breaking cycles of systemic poverty. Over the past six years, she has led Water4Life Guatemala in providing clean water access and education to more than 30,000 people, implementing greywater systems, and empowering Indigenous female leaders to advocate for health and environmental sustainability.
