WHY A PADDLING FOR POLIO RUBBER DUCK RACE?
We’re in a race against polio so we’re "Paddling for Polio" to raise funds to help End Polio Now for the 2024
World Polio Day We’re encouraging each of our 55 Rotary and Rotaract clubs to contribute to The Rotary Foundation's PolioPlus Fund. Send your receipt to Karen Kurt and she'll automatically enter your duck(s) in our Paddling for Polio Rubber Duck Race!
If every Rotarian purchases a rubber duck or two, we can raise over $30,000 which in turn will be matched by the Gates Foundation two-for-one and we turn the $30,000 into $90,000 for polio eradication. Each club will sell ducks for $20 each or 6 ducks for $100. We will have some nice gifts for our top finishers.
HOW DO I PURCHASE MY LUCKY RUBBER DUCKS?
By making a charitable donation to the The Rotary Foundation's "PolioPlus Fund" which is a 503(c)3 non-profit.
