Venezuelan refugees and migrants arrived in Pamplona after walking for days. The volunteers at Albergue Hogar de Paso Marta Duque distributed meals to the hungry and exhausted women, men and children. Some of them decided to rest to continue their journey on foot to other cities, while others will confront the challenging task of finding a place to spend the night in the streets of Pamplona before continuing their journey the next day. We are people in action serving to change lives.
Amid the largest exodus in Latin America due to the Venezuelan complex humanitarian crisis, our team continues to work with the coordinators and volunteers who make remarkable efforts to help alleviate hunger and promote peace despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
