You're cordially invited to a special dinner created by Chef Soren Pedersen to take you on a unique culinary adventure. He catered to those with a passion for fresh and natural cuisine from local farmers. This exquisite experience will feature 6-course dishes and pair with 6 different wines hand selected by Stephanie Earthman Baird, DWS, CWE to enhance your culinary pallet. This event is hosted by Rotary e-Club of Houston & Vox Culture in honor of Rotary Wine Appreciation Fellowship.

In loving memory of Martin Bailey. We dedicate this fundraiser to raise funds for the Martin Bailey's Garden at Wisdom High School. This project will provide Wisdom High School with a sustainable green space in the school that can produce resources to students including food, educational, and employment opportunities. Upon creation, it can also be used as a space for live teaching, while building agricultural, business skills, a sense of personal responsibility and opportunities for teamwork.

Chef Soren Pedersen was born and raised in Denmark where cooking with fresh local ingredients is culturally instilled. With this background, Chef Soren began his apprenticeship in the kitchen at age fourteen. With over 25 years of professional cooking experience, Chef Soren will share his secrets and expertise in this one-of-a-kind cooking series, Currant Kitchen. Chef Soren will demonstrate how to forage the local farmer's markets for the freshest seasonal ingredients. With in-season products selected at their peak of flavor, Chef Soren will combine them to create simple meals that are incredible.

Stephanie Earthman Baird, DWS, CWE
The wines for the Rotary Wine Appreciation Fellowship Dinner have been hand selected by Wine Educator and Sommelier Stephanie Earthman Baird. The wine pairings are designed to enhance each dinner course crafted by Chef Pedersen and take you on a worldwide tasting journey. The evening will start with a lively Prosecco, a sparkling treat from a protected area of northern Italy. From Italy, your taste buds will travel to the south of France and be treated to a white blend of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, and Rousanne. The second course will feature a Malagousia, a refreshing white wine from southern Greece. Three red wines will enter the picture with a California Pinot Noir, Washington State Red Blend, and an Australian Shiraz to accompany the next three courses. The dessert course will end with an unexpected wine pairing designed to cap off your evening with a smile.

Colin Corbello
This around-the-world wine journey will be presented by one of Stephanie’s students and longtime assistant, Colin Corbello. He will not only present the wines but will be available to answer any questions you have about these or other wines.
