ANY member may collecting books in our fight against illiteracy. Between 2001 and 2016 the number of books shipped was 11,343,058, according to Rotarybooksfortheworld.org. It is a commendable effort by people from many different Rotary clubs in the United States and Rotary Districts. Please consider donating your books to those who need them, and not only you will be joining us in caring for education and literacy, but in helping the environment by sending books to those who so desire to receive them and put the to good use to enhance learning and to encourage a love of reading. Special thanks to Rtn. Marci Junge, Grapevine Rotary Club, for collecting books in her district!  They will be loaded into our Rotary trailer, brought to Houston, and taken to the warehouse in Pasadena in preparation for the next monthly workday with volunteer Rotarians and Interact students.
