Join us as we welcome guest speaker, Alan Wylie! Alan will talk about his exciting work with the NASA space program of 43 years where he served as navigation flight controller for all Apollo lunar landing missions and for Space Shuttle rendezvous missions, before retiring in 2010. His presentation will also reference many of the space program heros. Alan joined Space Center Rotary in 1975 and has been involved in Rotary Youth Exchange for 33 years. He was Youth Exchange Officer for District 5890 for 20+ years, served as Chair of RI Rotary Youth Exchange 2013/14, and is currently serving as RYE Mentor for D5890.

A graduate of Kilgore High School and Texas Tech University, Alan met his wife, Gaye, through Rotary Youth Exchange. They’ve been married for 14 years and are proud parents of 6 children and 12 grandchildren. Alan is an avid golfer and member of University of Baptist Church. This will be an exciting and interesting presentation - join us via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8610587335?pwd=SFpoNUk4TFFyZkJEL0tpbUxLa2tBUT09, Meeting ID:  861 0587 335

Rotarian, Kim Rogers, in Antigua Guatemala participating in a Rotary event to support the local firemen. Kim is a great example of how e-Club of Houston members can engage in their local community and join other local Rotarians in service projects. Thank you, Kim!

Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh: Among his many achievements, Prince Phillip, spouse of Queen Elizabeth, II, was an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton and also Windsor St George. Until about five years ago, the Duke would attend meetings in ‘his’ club and refused to be treated differently to any other Rotarian. He was also a committed environmental campaigner and wildlife advocate, becoming president of the World Wildlife Fund (UK) in 1961.

Rotary Yellow Pages is a directory for Rotarians to network, refer business, job search, mentorship, and encourages Rotarians to support each other fellow Rotarians for goodwill and better friendship. Thank you to e-Club's Nguyen Nguyen for putting this great reference together!
